Rocking Life Ministry

We train men
to see, pursue, and
point others to Christ.

One friend. One conversation. One transformed life at a time.

Men were never meant to walk alone.

Not through their faith. Not through their hardest seasons. Not through the work of becoming who God made them to be.

What we build

FORGE groups.

Small groups of men doing life together. In person. Weekly. For the long haul.

Honest conversations. Real accountability. Men who show up for each other the way the Good Samaritan showed up for a stranger on the road.

One man at a time. One fire at a time.

The Ember Vision
"In Seattle, 1999, I watched embers rise from a fire and scatter across the ground. Each one able to start something new. I heard the Lord say: this is how the Kingdom spreads."
Per Angerstig · Founder

A man who has been transformed
ignites another man.
That man ignites another.
This is how the Kingdom spreads.

Joe's Story · Video Coming Soon
One Story — Joe
"My life changed that day. Not in some dramatic display of God's power, but in a feeling of total peace and surrender."
Joe L. · Windvale FORGE

Joe and Todd had been friends and tennis buddies for over fifteen years. They had never once talked about faith.

That changed on a tennis court when Todd casually mentioned a men's group in the park. Joe went back and forth for a week. Texted Todd he couldn't come. Then reversed course at 9:08 PM the night before.

He pulled into the parking lot at 6:55 AM and looked over at the picnic tables. No one was there. He gave it one minute.

Someone walked over and sat down.

That morning was the surrender. Two months later he spoke at his mother's funeral — and publicly professed Christ for the first time in his life.

The Other Half of That Story — Todd
"I haven't missed a single day now of the devotional or going through the Bible in a year. I've gone through Matthew, Mark, Luke, and I'm finishing John today."
Todd · Who invited Joe

Here is what most people miss about Joe's story.

Before Todd invited Joe, Todd wasn't on fire either. He would start a devotional every January 1st and give up by the 5th. He'd been a Christian for years. Church on Sunday, not much else.

He wasn't qualified to lead anyone. He just invited a friend.

Joe came, and something caught. And then something caught in Todd too. Todd now reads his Bible every day. Prays every day. His walk with God is deeper than it has ever been.

The man who invites gets changed too.

This is the part no one tells you. You don't have to be spiritually polished to ask a friend into a room of men. Being the one who invites is what sets you on fire.

What if the next fire starts with you?

IGNITE is a 12-week discipleship circle on Zoom that helps you grow deeper in your faith, learn how to share your faith with a friend, and start a FORGE in your community.

A Note from Per

This is my story.

Ten years ago, I was alone. Depressed. Hiding behind a mask. Thinking about ending it.

Seven men saw through it. They didn't try to fix me. They showed up — checking in, praying, listening, bringing me to dinner, including me at Christmas and Thanksgiving. No agenda. Just presence.

A FORGE group is a group of guys who show up for each other the way those seven men showed up for me.

There is no shortage of lonely men. There is a shortage of men who know how to show up for each other.

Rocking Life is funded by the men who found a FORGE group — and by the wives, mothers, friends, and anyone who wants more of them to exist.
