Joe and Todd had been friends and tennis buddies for over fifteen years. They had never once talked about faith.
That changed on a tennis court when Todd casually mentioned a men's group in the park. Joe went back and forth for a week. Texted Todd he couldn't come. Then reversed course at 9:08 PM the night before.
He pulled into the parking lot at 6:55 AM and looked over at the picnic tables. No one was there. He gave it one minute.
Someone walked over and sat down.
That morning was the surrender. Two months later he spoke at his mother's funeral — and publicly professed Christ for the first time in his life.
